these caecilian synapses lay bellykisses to streambed;
created chemosensory climax(es). detritus dreamspread
thickly .—. all nite .—. concupiscent, sousing seraphim thread
w/ humectant sweetwater. underside fimbriated folds .—. expectant
velvet scabbard .—. our hide fleshed in the sun; our bodies were annular,
so we couldn’t tell where we began inside & where we ended .—. just knew glandular
dark & its mucoid caresses .—. & though there were tongues, we had no vernacular
to lift the world out from .—. the palace of the senses.
