Good Darkness

                   as in, penumbral moon
         opening a silver
         portal to

                   selenite spinning
         words to questions
         you

                   are trying to reach—but
         not trying as in
         plowing

                   as in, fishing
         on a cold, still sea
         —the moment

                   the reel catches, you
         straighten the line
         and become

                   the light
